Mid-State Litho is proud to announce that Planatol Planamelt Pro is now officially in stock and shipping from our Grand Blanc, Michigan facility. Trusted throughout Europe and rigorously tested across OEM environments, Planamelt Pro offers a next-generation solution for adhesive binding — combining PUR-level performance with EVA-level simplicity.
Whether you’re producing manuals, catalogs, photo books, or digital prints, this hybrid hotmelt adhesive is designed to elevate your binding performance without requiring a PUR investment.

What is Planamelt Pro?

Planamelt Pro is a polyolefin-based hotmelt adhesive designed specifically for the needs of the graphic arts and binding industry. It can be used in standard EVA glue tanks and delivers exceptional adhesion even on coated, laminated, and digital toner-based stocks.
Unlike PUR, it contains no isocyanates, requires no chemical reaction to cure, and does not emit harmful vapors. That makes it easier, safer, and more economical for a wide range of print finishing operations.

Key Benefits at a Glance

🔹 Hybrid Hotmelt Formula – Offers PUR-like performance but works in EVA-style glue systems
🔹 Outstanding Layflat Characteristics – Delivers clean, even spine lay for photobooks and manuals
🔹 Low-Odor, Clean-Running – Minimal stringing and nearly smoke-free during long runs
🔹 Safe & Formaldehyde-Free – No special labeling, no isocyanates, and recyclable
🔹 Thin but Durable Application – Applies cleanly from 0.2–0.5 mm, with strong pull resistance
🔹 Wide Compatibility – Ideal for coated/uncoated paper, laminated covers, digital toner, and more
