Rena Systems, Inc. is based out of  located Oaks, Pennsylvania just  outside of Philadelphia. They company began in 1984 to fill the need for efficient tabletop addressing equipment. The company started off manufacturing an automatic, pressure-sensitive labeler which was very popular throughout North America. Rena collaborated with the USPS to create a dot-matrix envelope printer capable of printing addresses with the Postnet Barcode.
